Established in 1972 by a coalition of scientists from the Tropical Science Center (TSC) and local community Quakers to protect one of the last tracts of pristine cloud forest in Central America, the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve is a pioneering and progressive organization. conservation and ecotourism model based on biodiversity research and education.
Explore the Monteverde Cloud Forest reserve with an expert pair of eyes on a guided hike. We will explore various trails in search of birds and mammals and discuss the amazing diversity of plants.
The tour is essentially a natural history walk where you will learn about the incredible diversity of flora and fauna and many of the unique relationships that many cloud forest species have with one another.
